Yes, there is great ski-ing although we didn’t see the snow except when we drove over Mt Lebanon. One of the main resorts is called The Cedars and has some Cedar trees to prove it.

We can only hope that the cedars get preserved. Lovely video of the area capturing the dry mountain condition and beauty of the area.

I’m glad that programs and tourist initiatives are in place to replant the cedars. It’s sad to think that such an important cultural symbol has dwindled so much.

This is a great video! Are/were you a professional in this field?

I met a Lebanese family in Jordan about 5 years ago, and they said not to judge the place on what I’d seen on the news. And, I heard there’s some pretty good ski-ing there, too?
