@ Graham Thanks for letting me know about that presentation. I think it’s a big dilemma that human impact is causing the decline in turtle numbers but without the human interest there wouldn’t be an economic interest in preserving them. Are you aware that the BBC TV News Channel did a piece about loggerhead turtles in Zakynthos and the harm that humans are doing? Moreover did you know that Professor Sue Christie did a lecture on turtles compromised ny lights at night in her presentation in Armagh last year?

i love turtles. when i dive they are the thing i am most excited to see. watching them swimming is just amazing.

A lot of damage to the Mediterranean has been done by overfishing and pollution. I think the tide is changing though and awareness is spreading throughout the region which is a good thing. Very interesting interview
