Wine tasting and Greece holiday. What would be better for summer holidays. That is a guite new wine farm but sounds like good wines are made there.

Watching the video makes me want to visit Greece and try their wine. Just looking at their picture I felt that they are happy.
@Jen: too bad you’re allergic with alcohol but its a good way to be healthy.

[...] In the 20 years I’ve been visiting Zakynthos (also known as Zante) where my sister lives, I’ve been adding to my ceramics collection on each visit to the Sigouros Pottery shop in Zante town. I was aware that they also had a workshop where you can see the pottery being made and painted, although I’d never had the chance to visit it until last summer. This time we drove our hire car out to Machairado, which is a 15 minute drive inland from Zante town, combining the visit with a stop for some wine tasting at Oenolpi Winery which is close by. We have the Niagara Valley just outside of Toronto. Ice wine is one of the local wines they produce. Of course, I haven’t tasted it yet…Unfortunately, I am severely allergic to anything with alcohol.

@ Caitlin Yes I seem to be gravitating towards the winemakers wherever I go now – I just love to see people making something good out of their land and I think a lot of these wines taste best drunk where they are made.
