Montgomery is a nice medium size town. It has a lot of historic sights, a gambling casino with two restaurants and a hotel inside. There are many parks and Montgomery has a zoo. Eastchase mall is nice as it has some of the major shopping stores and there are plenty of restaurants in East have area. They have Bone Fish grill, Firebirds, Moes Southwest grill to name a few restaurants. Montgomery is the capital of Alabama therefore there are a lot of historical sights. Montgomery also has a zoo. It is a nice place to visit. My favorite area is Eastchase and the shopping mall and restaurants. I liked Firebird’s restaurant and Smoothie King. Driving around Montgomery is easy.

We saw the Legacy Museum.
We saw the Legacy Museum. It was a once in a lifetime experience. We got to meet Bryan Stevenson--The visionary behind the museum and the figure the movie "Just Mercy" chronicled. He was personable and made himself available for a one-hour Q & A session. His work is phenomenal and a must-experience for all those interested in tracing the roots of slavery as well as the experiences of the disenfranchised in the criminal justice system!!! We were not able to visit the Rosa Parks museum and the other sites. We will return in September to see the rest of Alabama!!!

Montgomery Alabama Is a Beautiful place but I would never recommend the Sunrise Extended Stay The location was great but the room they reserved was ridiculous just wasn't suitable at all just look like a place for prostitution, the person didn't show customer service at all didn't try to fix the situation, the place needs to be completely renovated it was like they just took my money and that was it, they had the lobby all locked up you couldn't enter the lobby area to see the facility it really made me feel like every time i reserve a room, I need to see the room first before I pay.

I love Montgomery we come there often.
I love Montgomery we come there often. The reason was the Extended Stay which is now Home 1. The Hotel is totally different when it comes to cleanliness. Cooking utensils, plates and silverware used to provided because we prepared our meals in the room. The only thing available was 1 pot 1 fork 1 plate. We had to eat out because of the lack of cooking utensils plates and the like. There were roaches, we had to sleep with the lights on
This was by far the worst hotel have ever seen. Filthy - not only would the door not lock it wouldn’t stay closed. Had to put a chair under the doorknob. 1/2 roll of toilet paper - no extra toll. The towels were nastier than the ones I throw in my dogs house! There were holes in the sheets - the bathroom floors looked like they had never been cleaned! Totally disgusting. No ice in the machine - if it wasn’t for an injured passenger needing to rest I would never have stayed.
The location and the rate was in line with expectations. The owner and operator were great and was very honest that the hotel is under their new management. We were less critical since this property is in the midst of a major renovation. I am sure within time, he will address some of the deficiencies. It takes time. It check all the boxes that me and my family needed for an overnight stay. Cant wait to see the future changes, I am sure it will be great!
Location was great! We were there for the Biscuits Season Opener and it was wonderful to be able to walk to and from the stadium!! Our son loved getting to ride the Byrd scooters around Downtown Montgomery! So FUN! The breakfast and social hour were super delicious! The suite was clean and stocked and staff was so sweet and kind. The pool was lovely and the workout facilities were also great! We truly enjoyed ourselves!
The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly, especially the front desk. Our beds were pretty comfy and I really like that you don't hear noises from other guest while in your room. Also you can't beat their breakfast and afternoon kickback. We ate supper there both nights we stayed. They offer a good variety so there was something for everyone.
The rooms were so comfortable and the staff was so nice. We are moving to a new military base and they accommodated parking for our Uhaul and were always there if we needed something. This hotel was extremely quiet, I didn’t see a single person the whole time we were there and it was close to the Air Force base.
The reason I went back to this location was because the first visit was excellent however this was totally different as this room was an older room that smelled. The radiator air conditioner was very loud at best therefore we didn’t rest well and then canceled the next day and got another hotel
Very clean, It was our nephew's wedding weekend, so it was very close to their wedding venue, the 1616 House, and close access to downtown where we attended a graduation as well. Tonja, was so polite and helpful to us during our stay.
I liked the maid service. She took very good care of our room with new towels and a clean room everyday without being asked as some hotels tend to do these days. The staff overall was alright. The lobby area was nice and clean
I loved the price for the hotel, very cheap. I did not see any roaches and loved that I didn't smell any Marijuana smoke. There was a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Overall a decent price for a short stay.
