Spent one night. Very friendly and accommodating staff (parking, dog friendly).
The kitchen gave us some hot water (free) in the morning so we could make our own tea.
Central location. Possibility to walk dog on the large lawn right in front of the hotel.

The location is quiet and has a very nice view over the forested mountains. Plenty of parking available for cars. Staff are friendly and can point you to some interesting local sights and give you some general advice. I didn't speak English with them, so I can't comment on this aspect. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable and come equipped with everything you need for a short stay.

The breakfast was OK, the bartender girl was very nice and caring, but that's all of good news.... the hotel itself is old and smelly, and the attic room smells cigarettes and mold. No greeter, no clear sings at the property... check-in is at the BAR at the different building...I had to find out it by running around in the rain... there are no available parking spots near the hotel because all the restaurant people park there and there is no room to turn around if you stuck there...if you park at a lower level, there is a little bit of walking to your hotel with your luggage.. keep in mind that you will be charged 5 euro parking extra for this "convenience" ... 🥲

The staff was nice and the bed comfortable. Room was clean and comfortable, and I had a nice view out the back/courtyard of the hotel looking into the hills. The breakfast was very good and plentiful. I also like having a water cooker for my tea, and the windows were nice and big so you could open them and get a breeze. The room was of a larger size than some in Europe.

If you were into history and culture, Eisenach can be very interesting. It is the birthplace of Johann Sebastian Bach and an important town in the history of Martin Luther (there are museums for both). The town castle played an important role in the Protestant Reformation and has been fully restored. Definitely a wonderful place to visit. For sightseeing and a city tour, the city is a lovely typical German small town which is definitely worth a visit, but a visit longer than a day or two might get a bit monotonous.

Easy to walk around town.
Easy to walk around town. Important attractions easy to find and absorb in a day, or two if you want to see Wartburg as well, which is great. The Bach house was a bit of a let-down as there's next to nothing pertaining to the genius but the lot of info nearly makes up to it. The city museum is impressive in the palace on the main square.

With a one night stay we were able to visit the Wartburg Castle, the Bach museum, and the church connected with Bach. We found a very nice Vietnamese restaurant where we had a good meal at a very reasonable price. The Kaufland supermarket and Woolworths were both very useful shops.

It's a perfect place to visit if you like history.
It's a perfect place to visit if you like history. I spent nearly a whole day up at the Wartburg castle, which was simple amazing. From learning about the art, music and literary history of the place, to the deeply important religious history (as a Lutheran, seeing the room where Martin Luther worked on his Bible translation was breathtaking), there's just so much in the one place. Tack on a trip to the Lutherhaus, and I was simply over the moon. I know there were more things I definitely wanted to do but didn't have time for, including a few museum options and the Bachhaus. It's a lovely city, very walkable and quaint, and the public transit, from what little I used, was very effective and clean. It does get very quiet in the evenings, so if you're looking for nightlife, this probably isn't the place, but since I like quieter nights, this was a perk for me! Also the natural landscape all around the city is gorgeous, with thick forests and sweeping mountains on all sides. Great for pictures (when it's not raining)!

Really lovely city.
Really lovely city. Gorgeous old town centre and birthplace of JS Bach so we visited the museum and went to see the Wartburg, where Martin Luther had to hide out for 10 months. Easy city to walk around. Lots of good restaurants but most will stop serving at 9pm. We had a wonderful meal after hours (about 10pm!) in Valentinos, which was also very central.
My room is very small like Japanese business hotel, and there was no view from the window (only wall of bush!!)
But, breakfast was good, enough for me with good service.
And I was surprised because hotel was located almost top of small mountain and there was no flat area for parking, but the hotel staff prepared level place for my motorcycle very near from there entrance.
Nice hotel and restaurant in a great location to access Wartburg and the beautiful natural surroundings by foot. The room was a little small for 2 but the staff were very welcoming and the service was exceptional which more than made up it. We would definitely stay again.
We had a really large two-room apartment. There was a kitchen with everything you might need: stove, fridge, dishes, coffee machine with coffee capsules, and more. And all that for about a half of the price we paid for other hotels in Germany on the same trip.
The location is perfect for a stop-over during a longer trip or to visit Eisenach, as it is a few kilometres off the highway and from the city centre. Very quiet place surrounded by green hills and hiking trails.
Large rooms and a very good breakfast.
Nice quaint hotel with "medieval" touch near the centre of Eisenach. Good for a short stay. We did not try the restaurant but it looked great with the waiters in "period dress" to add to the authentic medieval feel of the place!
The hotel was quiet and rooms were basic, but clean. There was free parking provided. It sits next to an Augustiner Brauhaus, which was convenient and it was an easy walk into the center of town. Good value.
Unfortunately, breakfast was not available at this B&B. This was known upfront, so not a surprise.
However it could mean that next time in Eisenach we will be looking for an alternative location.
Location is good for visiting Eisenach and Wartburg Castle. Staff was friendly. Excellent typical German breakfast. Parking was available in a lot right outside the main door. Shopping nearby.
The flat was superb; clean, cosy and very homely. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and only regret is I couldn't stay longer. Eisenach is a great place to visit as well, stunning nature.
