Valencia re-visited with the Amateur Traveler
May 18, 2008 by admin
I was thrilled to record an interview with Chris Christensen of the Amateur Traveler Podcast last week to tell him all about our visit to Valencia. The podcast has just been published on Amateur Traveler, so do head over here to listen.
Each week Chris publishes a new show on the internet with some travel related news and resources as well as an interview with a fellow traveller about somewhere they have visited. You can listen to the podcast via your computer or download it to listen at leisure on your i-pod or MP3 player.
We set up the interview over Skype and because of the time difference it was morning for Chris in West Coast USA but late afternoon for me here in Bristol. I barricaded myself into the family office with large NO ENTRY signs on the door and we had a great time recording the interview and chatted a bit more afterwards too. Luckily Chris spends quite a while editing each interview and so when I fluffed my lines it didn’t matter too much as it could be edited out and the end result makes me sound quite professional.
I’ve enjoyed many of the previous Amateur Traveler podcasts on places I’ve been to or am thinking of visiting - I find it’s a great way to quickly get a flavour of the place. I do hope you enjoy hearing a little more about Valencia - do let me know what you think.
